About The Artist Angela Ocheltree is a native of Marietta, GA, who returned to her roots from New York City seven years ago. She is an accomplished sculptor whose work ranges from portrait busts to reduced and full-sized figures of people and animals. Angela studied art at Mercer University in Macon and the University of Georgia. She also traveled to Italy to study the great masters' works and learn the lost wax bronze casting process. During her studies in Italy, she sold several pieces to local collectors. While living in the New York area, she continued her sculpting studies at the Silvermine Guild Arts Center in New Canaan, Connecticut. Sculpting has been a lifelong passion for Angela, and at the beginning of 2007 she left the corporate world to start sculpting full-time. Her current work includes a series of limited edition horse sculptures, the first of which will be introduced at the FEI Rolex World Cup in Las Vegas this year (April 18-23, 2007). Other works include lifesize sculptures of children, portrait busts and reduced size sculptures.
